5 Days People!

This month has already FLOWN by, but honestly it has been absolutely amazing.

I finished school with grades that I feel pretty good about (I was very worried about my physics class…but God is good, and I passed so now I plan to never open a physics book again! Ya!) I passed the LSB1 test, so I am officially a Learning Behavior Specialist and am ready to student teach next spring, how awesome is that?!

My Visa arrived in the mail a week after it was sent it in. I got all the immunizations I need for my trip and my malaria medication came in the mail the other day, I start taking that two days before I leave (I am believing for ZERO side affects!) Everything is set for my Chicago apartment, it is filled with 5 wonderful girls for the summer. EVERYTHING has come together perfectly, it is amazing.

This past week has been a blessing. I had the opportunity to go to Holland Michigan to visit my second family, the family I lived with last summer, and it was perfect. I was even connected with a new friend who will be spending time in Mozambique this summer…connections in my life have been so crazy but I know with all of my heart that they are for a reason, and for that I am grateful.

The next five days include spending time with more people that I love and PACKING! I haven’t even started…yikes!

I know this blog is quick, but I have so much to do!!!! Africa is so close, I can hardly contain my excitement, if there was a way I would leave tomorrow but patience is a virtue, right, and if I can wait 10 years I think 5 days will be a breeze! Things are going great, I have no complaints. I just pray that these next 5 days at home are beautiful and that the moment I step on the plane to leave I will be ready for whatever God has for me this summer!!!

This past month has definitely had its up’s and down’s but through it all I have realized that the up’s are always better than the down’s (duh) and when there is pain, joy comes in the morning!
